to let you know that I am in the best of condition

October 10th 1915

Dear Mother.

Just a line to let you know that I received your welcome letter and parcel with thanks and to let you know that I am in the best of condition at the time of writing this. I have how you got know about Harry I thought I would not let you know because of upsetting you but I am very thankful to say that he is alright at present. You did not let me know about Dad losing that money, but that is only one of his tricks.  Thank Harry Cooper for the cigarettes, and receive the best of love

for all from

Your loving

son George
